My Mission

To share the healing benefits of yoga with all.

My Story

Michelle’s yoga journey began nearly 20 years ago, with group yoga classes at her local gym while working in the financial industry. She practiced on and off for years, appreciating the physical benefits, but never considered herself a true “yogi” until the winter of 2012 when she lived in Florida with a friend who had just completed her first Yoga Teacher Training. Daily vinyasa practices by the pool started as a fun social activity and soon became a part of life, but after returning to work in corporate America it became more difficult to stick to a routine.

Michelle’s true turning point came in January of 2017. She was still working part-time as the CFO of a small insurance agency, while simultaneously pursuing her dream of a career in hang gliding. Michelle began to experience vertigo and suddenly all plans were put on hold. Michelle turned to yoga as a way of releasing excess energy and quieting the voices in her head, and found a much needed reminder that there are always more possibilities than we can see in any given moment. Her yoga mat became a refuge from anxiety and depression, and allowed her to get back in touch with her true self.

Michelle’s friends describe her as a “bad-ass” with an equally strong nurturing side. Michelle views movement and rest as equally important, and is trained in both vinyasa flow and restorative yoga. She prides herself on providing a complete experience, including meditation, breath work (pranayama), a heat-building flow and a yummy stretchy cool-down. Distractions are minimized and Michelle uses her voice to influence the mood and energy in the room.

You are such a bad-ass and I just think your classes are going to be filled with bad-ass women.
